The Great Escape

It’s been a long long weekend! But I wouldn’t change it for a minute. Yes this is another work post, but the glimpse of music and happy people make Brighton more lively than usual for one weekend.

Discovering a band before your friends always has a twinge of pride along with it, which is probably why the up and coming got just as big a crowds as the well known.

It’s all over for another year, bring on the next event.

All the best,

Oxford May morning

I wouldn’t want to do an all nighter with any other team. There’s something about knowing that you all have each other’s back that makes even the strangest positions seem normal when doing the security for an event.

A very early start in oxford brought out students earlier than you have ever seen them up before.

It brought the weird and wonderful and smiles to all the faces around.

Being such a historic place, almost all the buildings were so picturesque, this was just one of them. Even if it was just a millisecond as we walked past, it was great to see them still standing.

Go out of your way to experience life

Goodbye Dover

It’s been a while since my last post, definitely too long. The trouble is, with work and other commitments it’s nice to sometimes relax. I have been taking photos throughout the time you haven’t heard from me, but just sometimes it’s nice to take photos and let them speak for themselves.

It comes to a point, as a photographer where you wish people would see photos as art. People can pass by so many scenes that to a photographic eye could look amazing.

Dover is full of amazing photos, while working there it’s hard to find many of them. Although this one caught my eye on the journey and it just shows that one person doing something might not be as powerful as a collective. These are admission stickers to Dover castle that have been stuck on the back of a road sign close to the car park.

It shows how people want to leave a part of them there, be a part of something and feel like they belong.

Maybe you alone can’t make a difference, but if everyone thought that then there really would only be one guy shouting to get his voice heard.

All the best
